Father-inclusion: partners welcome at ANC education sessions

Wednesday afternoon antenatal education now formally welcomes birth companions — because prepared families have smoother deliveries.

Partners, mothers and guardians are invited to the weekly education sessions covering birth preparation, danger signs, feeding support and how families can help in the first weeks at home.

What families learn

• How to support a mother during labour and after birth
• Danger signs in pregnancy and the newborn period
• Feeding, bonding and safe sleep at home

Sessions run on Wednesday afternoons at the antenatal clinic. All birth companions are welcome.
